A Grand Inauguration

The event was officially launched by Manisha Saxena, Director General of the Ministry of Tourism of India, and Long Phirum, Secretary of State of Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism. The inaugural celebration was a vibrant display of traditional Cambodian and Indian cultural performances, setting the tone for a rich exchange of ideas and collaborative tourism efforts. The event also marked the commencement of Cambodia’s national carrier’s first direct flights between Phnom Penh and New Delhi, launched just a day prior, on June 16. This direct air link is set to boost the flow of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) travel between the two nations.
